Principal

For Carol, publishing is a passion she’s worked in for most of her career. Business acumen, an infectious personality, and an unmistakable drive help her quickly develop strong client/agency relationships. These special skills, as well as her knack for developing creative media solutions, help create long-term publisher value for her clients. It also attracts the top-notch sales talent that comprises the company.

After launching a career in hospitability and radio sales, Carol discovered the world of print, where she has built a career and strong reputation with publishers, agencies, and clients alike. As the dawn of the digital age approached, adding a 360-approach to product portfolios, Carol moved seamlessly with it and is IAB-certified.

Carol and her husband Bruce are both long-time members of Dallas’ advertising community. They enjoy traveling, collecting art and supporting a wide range of nonprofits in Dallas. Originally from Atlanta, Carol graduated from the University of West Georgia.

Brittanie Buchanan

Sales Director

In a word, Brittanie is ambitious. In 2012, Brittanie joined Carol Orr & Company in pursuit of new challenges provided by national media sales. She has proven more than ready for this stage, generating results that are outstanding to both publishers and clients alike.

Originally from Utah, after graduating with a marketing degree from the University of Utah and working in the fashion industry for Wilhemina Urban Agency, she met her husband.

Her media career jumpstarted when they moved to Texas and launched a regional luxury real estate publication. As VP, Sales & Marketing, Brittanie learned the nuances of successful selling, as well as how to run a small business.

Brittanie has been active on the Board of DIFFA/Dallas where she broke multiple records for patron growth and fundraising. When she’s not selling, Brittanie lives happily ever after traveling and eating every dessert in sight, all while raising three furry kids – Sophie the Great Dane and two Bengals, Hunter & Bonsai.

Sales Executive

Dannan is the most recent addition to the Carol Orr & Company team. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Dannan delivers considerable sales and marketing skill. With client and agency credentials, she clearly understands both sides of the media decision tree. Her direct sales experience for Farmers Insurance and the National Cheerleader Association, as well as promotion/event planning for The Hall Agency, add value to both publishers and clients. Dannan brings maturity, practical experience, strong communication skills and proven results to the Company. She’s also known to break out into “Boomer Sooner” without notice!
